The Box & Ship Story


In 2002, Rajan and Martha Dorasami were presented an opportunity to purchase a steadily growing mail and parcel center in the established Rivercrest community of Fort Worth, Texas. The combination of fresh enthusiasm and a solid customer base translates into a model for success as our good reputation spreads with each customer who takes advantage of our services. 

Many retail shipping centers have moved away from the Mom 'n Pop roots of this service based industry. Box & Ship has instead blended the "Family" store with the professionalism that customers should require when patronizing any business. By getting to know our customers and their families we have created an environment that shows our desire to serve. We maintain a professional workspace and utilize current technology in order to assure our customers that they are patronizing an establishment that exceeds their standards.

Rajan has worked in the shipping industry since the age of 15 when he began as a warehouse employee with a local industrial firm. His experience covers a broad range of services from crating, palletizing and loading of industrial components to child entertainment as Santa Claus! These experiences have prepared him for nearly any contingency in the retail shipping environment and he thoroughly enjoys his work. Martha maintained positions in administrative and accounting services for a number of years prior to becoming a full time mother and homemaker.

Today, Box & Ship has grown into a business that is thriving despite a difficult economy and growing competition from our own vendors. It is our firm belief that this growth is in response to our obedience to God and our genuine desire to show the world the Christian ideals and integrity that we strive for in every transaction.
